What is
Kinokawa City?

About Kinokawa City

Located in the northern part of Wakayama Prefecture, Izumisano is bordered by Izumisano City and Wakayama City in Osaka Prefecture. Blessed with a rich water source, the Kino River, and a mild climate, the area is famous throughout Japan for its seasonal fruits such as peaches, hassaku, strawberries and kiwis, which are among the country's top producers. Many people also visit Kishi Station on the Wakayama Electric Railway Kishigawa Line, where the "Tama Stationmaster" has become a worldwide sensation and the "Strawberry Train" and "Ume Train" are fun to ride.
